About SıcakFırsat

SıcakFırsat ("hot deal" in Turkish) is an AI-native deal validation platform for Türkiye, built on Anthropic's Claude. The community finds and shares deals; Claude verifies whether each discount is genuine and explains why.

We are a five-person, bootstrapped team based in Türkiye. The company currently operates as a sole proprietorship registered in Türkiye (Mustafa Horozoğlu).

The problem

Turkish shoppers face a constant stream of "discounts", many of which are inflated or misleading — for example, a list price raised shortly before a campaign so the "sale" price looks like a bargain. Price-comparison sites show the cheapest price but not whether a deal is real; deal forums rely entirely on manual community effort.

How we use Claude

• Real-discount score. Deterministic price statistics (median, lowest price, whether the claimed "old" price ever appeared, pre-campaign price spikes) are computed in code. We send Claude a product's description, its dated price history, these statistics and user comments in a structured prompt. Claude returns a JSON-schema-constrained assessment: a 0–100 score, a verdict (hot / lukewarm / cold / insufficient data), a price assessment, a comment summary, pros and cons. live (demo)
• Fake price-hike detection. We rely on Claude's reasoning to detect patterns such as a price being raised right before a campaign and then "discounted", and to explain each red flag to the user. live (demo)
• Listing analysis and automatic classification. From a messy, copy-pasted campaign text, Claude extracts the product, price, claimed old price and every condition (coupon codes, minimum basket, bank-card requirements, shipping), classifies the post (deal / coupon / freebie / discussion), and flags hidden costs, pressure tactics and misleading claims. live (demo) On the platform, every submission will pass this check, plus duplicate detection, before it reaches the front page. in development
• Hybrid moderation. Claude pre-screens every submission; clear cases are handled automatically, uncertain ones go to human moderators with Claude's reasoning attached. in development

Model: Claude Opus 5.5 via the Anthropic API, with structured outputs. User comments are treated strictly as data, never as instructions, and the model is instructed to rely only on the data provided — never to invent prices or market information.

Architecture

1. Data collection — community submissions plus price tracking via retailer APIs and product feeds, and periodic price monitoring where permitted. Builds a dated price history per product. in development
2. Claude analysis — code computes exact price statistics; Claude interprets them together with the listing text and user comments, and a structured assessment comes back. Competitor prices will be added once price tracking is live. live (demo)
3. SıcakFırsat Score — combines Claude's assessment with price statistics (e.g. 90-day average and lowest price) and community signals (votes, comments, poster reputation). High-scoring deals rise to the top. in development
4. Hybrid moderation — Claude pre-screens, humans decide edge cases, and moderator decisions feed back into the system. in development

Where we are today

We are in early access. The sicakfirsat.com landing page and early-access list are live, and a working Claude-powered deal analysis demo is publicly available. The deals shown on the home page are illustrative examples, not real listings. We are now building the community MVP.
